The cheapest way to withdraw USDT (2026): network fees on Binance, OKX and MEXC
The cheapest USDT withdrawal is usually on a low-fee network such as Plasma, Avalanche C-Chain or Polygon, where Binance, OKX and MEXC displayed fees of 0.07 USDT or less on 11 Oct 2026. Tron (TRC20) was the dearest of the shared networks at 1.5 USDT on Binance and OKX and 0.5 USDT on MEXC. The cheap option only works if the receiving wallet or exchange supports that same network.
The cheapest way to withdraw USDT is to pick a low-fee network that your receiving wallet also supports. On 11 Oct 2026, Binance, OKX and MEXC each displayed at least one USDT network at 0.01 USDT or less, while Tron (TRC20) cost 1.5 USDT on Binance and OKX and 0.5 USDT on MEXC.
The network you choose matters more than the exchange you are on. On Binance alone, the Tron fee is 150 times the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) fee.
Every figure below is as displayed on 11 Oct 2026. None of them is fixed: Binance’s crypto fee page says each withdrawal carries a flat fee set by the blockchain network and that it can change without notice.
Fees and minimums on the ten networks all three exchanges list
The figures come from Binance’s fee page, OKX’s withdrawal fee and minimum schedule and MEXC’s fee overview. Each cell shows the withdrawal fee, then the minimum withdrawal, both in USDT.
| Network | Binance | OKX | MEXC |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tron (TRC20) | 1.5 (min 5) | 1.5 (min 10) | 0.5 (min 2) |
| Ethereum (ERC20) | 0.5 (min 5) | 0.32 (min 2) | 0.094 (min 8) |
| Solana | 0.3 (min 5) | 0.31 (min 2) | 0.18 (min 10) |
| Arbitrum One | 0.4 (min 3) | 0.0033 (min 2) | 0.05 (min 1) |
| TON | 0.3 (min 3) | 0.022 (min 2) | 0.017 (min 8) |
| Aptos | 0.1 (min 3) | 0.032 (min 2) | 0.1 (min 10) |
| Polygon | 0.07 (min 5) | 0.011 (min 2) | 0.0065 (min 5) |
| Avalanche C-Chain | 0.04 (min 5) | 0.025 (min 2) | 0.000074 (min 4) |
| Optimism | 0.04 (min 3) | 0.015 (min 2) | 0.0078 (min 3) |
| Plasma | 0.012 (min 5) | 0.0000058 (min 2) | Free (min 10) |
OKX labels the token as USDT0 on its Polygon, Arbitrum One and Plasma rows. It lists Optimism twice, once as USDT and once as USDT0, with the same fee and minimum. If you use one of those rows, the receiving side must support what OKX is sending on that network.
Networks only some of them list
| Network | Binance | OKX | MEXC |
|---|---|---|---|
| BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) | 0.01 (min 3) | Not listed | 0.01 (min 0.2) |
| opBNB | 0.015 (min 5) | Not listed | Not listed |
| X Layer (USDT0) | Not listed | 0.0022 (min 0.02) | Not listed |
| Kaia | 0.02 (min 5) | Not listed | 1 (min 2) |
| CELO | 0.05 (min 5) | Not listed | 0.05 (min 2) |
| Asset Hub Polkadot | 0.1 (min 5) | Not listed | 1 (min 2) |
| NEAR Protocol | 0.2 (min 3) | Not listed | 0.2 (min 2) |
“Not listed” means the network was not in the USDT withdrawal list that exchange displayed on 11 Oct 2026.
Each exchange also had networks the other two did not show:
- Binance: KAVA EVM at 0.2, Scroll at 0.1 and Tezos at 0.1, each with a 5 USDT minimum.
- OKX: Berachain (USDT0) at 0.000098, Tempo at 0.00037, Monad (USDT0) at 0.00078 and Unichain (USDT0) at 0.016, each with a 2 USDT minimum.
- MEXC: Conflux eSpace at 0.01 with a 1 USDT minimum.
The cheapest and dearest option on each exchange
| Exchange | Cheapest displayed | Dearest displayed |
|---|---|---|
| Binance | BNB Smart Chain (BEP20), 0.01 USDT | Tron (TRC20), 1.5 USDT |
| OKX | Plasma (USDT0), 0.0000058 USDT | Tron (TRC20), 1.5 USDT |
| MEXC | Plasma, free | Asset Hub Polkadot and Kaia, 1 USDT each |
The gaps between exchanges on the same network are also wide:
- Tron (TRC20): sending 20 USDT costs 7.5% of the amount on Binance or OKX and 2.5% on MEXC.
- Arbitrum One: 0.4 USDT on Binance, 0.05 on MEXC and 0.0033 on OKX.
- TON: 0.3 USDT on Binance, 0.022 on OKX and 0.017 on MEXC.
- Ethereum (ERC20): 0.5 USDT on Binance, 0.32 on OKX and 0.094 on MEXC.
- Solana: 0.3 USDT on Binance, 0.31 on OKX and 0.18 on MEXC, the narrowest gap of the five.
A fee of 0.0000058 USDT is no use if the wallet or exchange you are sending to does not accept USDT on Plasma.
How the minimum can block a small withdrawal
The fee is only half of the rule. Each network also has a minimum, and the cheapest network sometimes has the highest one.
- MEXC: Plasma is free but needs at least 10 USDT, as do Solana and Aptos. Ethereum and TON need 8 USDT. With 6 USDT to move, the options left on the shared networks are Polygon (min 5), Avalanche C-Chain (min 4), Optimism (min 3), Tron (min 2) and Arbitrum One (min 1). BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) goes as low as 0.2 USDT.
- OKX: Tron needs at least 10 USDT. Every other OKX network in the lists above has a minimum of 2 USDT, except X Layer at 0.02 USDT.
- Binance: every listed network has a minimum of either 3 or 5 USDT. Tron’s is 5 USDT.
On a small withdrawal the fee is also a larger share of the amount. To see it as a percentage for your own figure, use our crypto fee calculator.
The one rule that prevents loss: both sides must use the same network
MEXC’s withdrawal guide warns that for tokens such as USDT that run on several networks, you must select the network that matches the receiving address. It also says that if a token needs a Memo/Tag you must enter it, or the assets may be lost.
So choose in this order:
- Open the deposit screen of the receiving wallet or exchange and note which USDT networks it offers.
- Of those networks, find the ones your sending exchange lists in the tables above.
- Drop any network where your amount is below the minimum.
- Pick the lowest fee among what is left.
- Copy the deposit address for that exact network, and the Memo/Tag if the receiving side shows one.
- Select the same network on the withdrawal screen and read the fee shown there before confirming, since it can differ from the figures on this page.
If the only network both sides share is Tron, then Tron is your cheapest option, even at 1.5 USDT.
What we could not confirm
- Whether each exchange takes the fee out of the amount you enter or adds it on top. The fee pages give the fee and the minimum, not how the deduction is applied.
- Whether the receiving side charges anything. Binance says it does not charge crypto deposit fees and MEXC lists USDT deposits as free on all its listed networks, but we have no sourced figure for OKX deposits or for other wallets.
- How the token OKX labels USDT0 is treated by receiving wallets and exchanges. We can only report the label as OKX displays it.

Frequently asked
Which network is cheapest for withdrawing USDT?
It depends on the exchange. On 11 Oct 2026 the lowest displayed fees were BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) at 0.01 USDT on Binance, Plasma at 0.0000058 USDT on OKX, and Plasma at no fee on MEXC with a 10 USDT minimum. Whichever you pick, the receiving wallet or exchange must support that same network.
Is TRC20 still the cheapest way to send USDT?
Not on these three exchanges. Tron (TRC20) was the dearest of the ten networks they all list: 1.5 USDT on Binance and OKX, and 0.5 USDT on MEXC. On a 20 USDT withdrawal that is 7.5% on Binance or OKX and 2.5% on MEXC.
Why can't I withdraw a small amount of USDT?
Each network has a minimum withdrawal as well as a fee. OKX will not send less than 10 USDT on Tron (TRC20), and MEXC sets a 10 USDT minimum on Solana, Aptos and Plasma. Switching to a network with a lower minimum often solves it, as long as the receiving side supports that network.
What happens if I choose the wrong network?
MEXC warns that for tokens like USDT that run on several networks, you must select the network that matches the receiving address, and that leaving out a required Memo/Tag may mean the assets are lost. A low fee is not worth that risk, so match the network first and compare fees second.
