MEXC fees explained (2026): spot, futures, withdrawals and how to pay less
Short answer

MEXC shows spot fees of 0.0000% maker and up to 0.0500% taker, with BTC/USDT at 0.0500% taker or 0.0400% with the 20% MX discount. Futures fees are shown as a range by contract: 0.000% to 0.040% maker and 0.000% to 0.100% taker. USDT deposits are free, and USDT withdrawals displayed on 11 Oct 2026 ran from free on Plasma to 0.5 USDT on Tron (TRC20).

MEXC shows spot fees of 0.0000% maker and up to 0.0500% taker, with BTC/USDT and ETH/USDT at 0.0500% taker, or 0.0400% with its 20% MX discount. Futures fees are shown as a range by contract, USDT deposits are free, and USDT withdrawals cost anywhere from nothing to 0.5 USDT depending on the network.

All figures below are the ones displayed in MEXC’s fee overview on 11 Oct 2026. They are MEXC’s published rates, not costs we measured ourselves.

The fees MEXC displays

FeeWhat MEXC shows
Spot maker0.0000%
Spot taker0.0000% to 0.0500%, depending on the pair
Spot taker, BTC/USDT and ETH/USDT0.0500%, or 0.0400% with the 20% MX discount
Futures maker0.000% to 0.040%, depending on the contract
Futures taker0.000% to 0.100%, depending on the contract
USDT depositFree on every network in the fee table
USDT withdrawalFree to 0.5 USDT, depending on the network
P2PZero platform fee, according to MEXC

There is no minimum deposit to open an account.

Two lines in that table decide most of what you actually pay: the taker rate and the withdrawal network.

Spot: you pay when you take, not when you make

A maker order is a limit order that rests on the order book until someone else fills it. A taker order fills immediately against orders already on the book, which is what a market order does.

MEXC shows 0.0000% for makers on spot, so the trading fee falls only on taker orders.

Worked example on BTC/USDT, using the published rates:

Order of 1,000 USDTRateFee
Market order (taker)0.0500%0.50 USDT
Market order with MX discount0.0400%0.40 USDT
Limit order that rests on the book (maker)0.0000%0 USDT

The fee is charged on each trade, so buying and later selling as a taker means paying it twice. A market order also crosses the spread, which is a cost on top of the fee and does not appear in any fee table.

Futures: a range, not a single rate

MEXC shows futures fees as a range: 0.000% to 0.040% maker and 0.000% to 0.100% taker, depending on the contract. That is all the overview states, and it means two things:

  • No single futures rate applies to every contract. A figure quoted for one contract does not carry over to another.
  • The top of the range is double the spot taker rate. At 0.100%, a taker order on a 1,000 USDT position would cost 1.00 USDT. That is the upper bound of the published range, not the rate for any specific contract.

We could not read the per-contract table on 11 Oct 2026, so this guide does not name a rate for BTC, ETH or any other contract.

Withdrawals: the network matters more than the amount

MEXC charges a flat fee per USDT withdrawal, set by the network. A flat fee takes a larger share of a small withdrawal than of a large one.

These are the USDT withdrawal fees and minimums displayed on 11 Oct 2026, cheapest first:

NetworkWithdrawal feeMinimum withdrawal
PlasmaFree10 USDT
Avalanche C-Chain0.000074 USDT4 USDT
Polygon0.0065 USDT5 USDT
Optimism0.0078 USDT3 USDT
BNB Smart Chain (BEP20)0.01 USDT0.2 USDT
TON0.017 USDT8 USDT
Arbitrum One0.05 USDT1 USDT
Ethereum (ERC20)0.094 USDT8 USDT
Aptos0.1 USDT10 USDT
Solana0.18 USDT10 USDT
Tron (TRC20)0.5 USDT2 USDT

Worked example: withdrawing 20 USDT over Tron (TRC20) costs 0.5 USDT, which is 2.5% of the amount. The same withdrawal over BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) costs 0.01 USDT, or 0.05%.

For comparison, the taker fee on a 1,000 USDT BTC/USDT market order is 0.50 USDT. One small TRC20 withdrawal costs as much as that whole trade.

The cheapest network is only an option if the receiving wallet or exchange supports it. MEXC’s withdrawal guide warns that the network you choose must match the receiving address. It also notes that the fee for each token is shown on the withdrawal page itself.

Deposits and P2P

MEXC lists USDT deposits as free on every network in its fee table. The network you send on may still charge its own fee on the sending side, and that is set by the wallet or exchange you send from.

For buying with local currency, MEXC’s P2P explainer says the service has a zero-platform-fee policy. Charges from your bank or payment provider are separate. Zero platform fee also says nothing about the price a P2P seller quotes you.

MEXC’s other funding methods are card purchases through third-party providers and direct crypto transfers. Card purchases are priced by those providers, not by MEXC’s fee table.

How to pay less

  1. Use limit orders that rest on the book. On spot, MEXC shows 0.0000% for makers. A limit order priced to fill immediately is still a taker order.
  2. Apply the MX discount if you take liquidity often. On BTC/USDT and ETH/USDT it cuts the taker fee from 0.0500% to 0.0400%, a saving of 0.10 USDT per 1,000 USDT traded.
  3. Check the receiving side before choosing a withdrawal network. Find out which networks the destination accepts, then pick the cheapest one from that list.
  4. Avoid small TRC20 withdrawals. At 0.5 USDT, Tron was the most expensive USDT network MEXC displayed on 11 Oct 2026.
  5. Withdraw less often. The fee is flat, so one larger withdrawal costs less than several small ones.
  6. Treat each futures contract separately. The published range runs up to 0.100% taker, so a rate you saw on one contract may not apply to the next.

Downsides that are not on the fee table

  • Lighter regulation. MEXC describes itself as operating offshore, and it holds no tier-one licence. Low fees do not offset that, so do your own due diligence.
  • Not available everywhere. MEXC is not available to residents of the US, UK or Canada.
  • Fiat goes through third parties. Card on-ramps are run by outside providers, and their charges sit on top of anything in this guide.
  • Capital at risk. Crypto is highly volatile, and futures add to that risk.

What we could not confirm

  • Per-contract futures rates. MEXC shows only a range, and we could not read the per-contract table on 11 Oct 2026.
  • Discount tiers and card costs. We did not verify any discount tied to how much MX you hold, any VIP levels, or the fees for fiat deposits, cards and third-party payments.
  • Inactivity fee. We could not find a published dormant-account fee. Treat it as unconfirmed and check MEXC’s current terms.

This guide is for education only and is not financial advice; trading carries a risk of loss.

Frequently asked

What are MEXC's spot trading fees?

MEXC's fee overview shows 0.0000% maker on spot and a taker fee from 0.0000% to 0.0500% depending on the pair. On BTC/USDT and ETH/USDT the taker fee shown is 0.0500%, or 0.0400% with the 20% MX discount. These are the rates displayed on 11 Oct 2026.

What are MEXC's futures fees?

MEXC shows futures fees as a range, not one number: 0.000% to 0.040% maker and 0.000% to 0.100% taker, depending on the contract. We could not read the per-contract table on 11 Oct 2026, so we do not quote a single futures rate.

Which network is cheapest for withdrawing USDT from MEXC?

On 11 Oct 2026 MEXC displayed USDT withdrawals as free on Plasma, 0.000074 USDT on Avalanche C-Chain, 0.0065 USDT on Polygon and 0.01 USDT on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20). Tron (TRC20) was the most expensive listed, at 0.5 USDT. The network you pick has to match the receiving address, so the cheapest option only works if the destination supports it.

Does MEXC charge for deposits or P2P?

MEXC lists USDT deposits as free on every network in its fee table. It also says its P2P service has a zero-platform-fee policy, though charges from your bank or payment provider are separate.
