How to withdraw from MEXC (2026): network fees, minimums and cashing out to a bank

How to withdraw from MEXC (2026): network fees, minimums and cashing out to a bank
Short answer

To withdraw from MEXC, go to Wallets, then Withdraw, pick the crypto, paste the address, choose the matching network, enter the amount and confirm with your email and Google Authenticator codes. On 11 Oct 2026 MEXC listed USDT withdrawal fees of 0.01 USDT on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) and 0.5 USDT on Tron (TRC20). To get local currency into a bank account, sell through MEXC P2P, which MEXC says carries no platform fee.

To withdraw from MEXC, open Wallets, choose Withdraw, pick the crypto, paste the receiving address, select the matching network and confirm with your email and Google Authenticator codes. For USDT, the fee MEXC listed on 11 Oct 2026 ranged from free on Plasma to 0.5 USDT on Tron (TRC20), so the network you pick decides most of the cost.

There are two routes out. You can send crypto on-chain to another wallet or exchange, or you can sell it through P2P and get paid in local currency to a bank account or payment app.

Route 1: send crypto on-chain

These are the web steps from MEXC’s official withdrawal guide:

  1. Log in and go to Wallets, then Withdraw.
  2. Select the crypto you want to send.
  3. Enter the withdrawal address.
  4. Choose the network.
  5. Enter the amount. MEXC shows the withdrawal fee for that token on the withdrawal page itself.
  6. Submit the email verification code and the Google Authenticator code.

MEXC gives two warnings in that guide:

  • Match the network to the address. For tokens such as USDT that run on several networks, the network you select must be the one the receiving address is on.
  • Enter the Memo/Tag if the token needs one. MEXC says the assets may be lost if you leave it out.

If the recipient also has a MEXC account, you can skip the blockchain. Choose the MEXC User option and identify the recipient by email, mobile number or MEXC UID.

MEXC lists USDT deposits as free on every network in the same table.

Which network is cheapest in practice

The cheapest fee is not always usable, because the minimums differ and the receiving side has to support the network.

  • Small amounts: BEP20 has the lowest minimum at 0.2 USDT and a fee of 0.01 USDT.
  • 5 USDT or more: Avalanche C-Chain, Polygon and Optimism all charge less than 0.01 USDT. Optimism is available from 3 USDT and Avalanche C-Chain from 4 USDT.
  • 10 USDT or more: Plasma is listed as free.
  • TRC20 is the most expensive option listed. Withdrawing 20 USDT over TRC20 costs 0.5 USDT, which is 2.5% of the amount. The same withdrawal over BEP20 costs 0.01 USDT.

Start from the networks your receiving wallet or exchange accepts, then pick the cheapest one in the table whose minimum you meet. To see the fee as a share of your own amount, use our crypto fee calculator.

Route 2: sell through P2P to get paid into a bank account

P2P is how you turn crypto on MEXC into local currency. You sell to another user, they pay you directly by bank transfer or payment app, and MEXC holds the crypto in between. According to MEXC’s P2P explainer:

  • Platform fee: MEXC says P2P has a zero-platform-fee policy. Charges from your bank or payment provider are separate.
  • Escrow: the seller’s crypto is locked in escrow and released only after payment is confirmed.
  • KYC: verification is required before you can use P2P.
  • Time limit: orders must be paid within a set time or they may be cancelled.
  • Disputes: these are handled by submitting evidence through the platform’s dispute process.
  • Stay on the platform: MEXC warns against changing the payment method or moving the trade off the platform.

As the seller, the practical rule that follows from the escrow design is simple: release the crypto only after you have seen the money in your own bank or payment account.

Worked example: selling USDT for naira on 11 Oct 2026

This is one dated example of a P2P cash-out. These prices are a snapshot, not current rates.

On 11 Oct 2026, MEXC’s naira P2P market showed two kinds of advert. The ones labelled “Featured” sat at the top of each list, with the ordinary adverts below them. The featured adverts were worse for the user on both sides.

Advert typeIf you were selling USDT (naira per USDT)If you were buying USDT (naira per USDT)
Featured (top of the list)1,3261,380 to 1,464.10
Ordinary (just below)1,363.85 to 1,364.801,356 to 1,363.20

For a seller, the featured advert paid about 38 naira per USDT less than the ordinary adverts just below it. On 100 USDT:

  • Featured advert at 1,326 naira: 132,600 naira
  • Ordinary advert at 1,363.85 naira: 136,385 naira
  • Difference: 3,785 naira on the same day

The first advert shown was not the best price. Scroll past the featured block and compare the ordinary adverts before you open an order.

Other details from the same snapshot: the payment methods shown were bank transfer, OPay, PalmPay and Kuda, advert limits started from 5,000 naira, and the payment window was 30 minutes.

Downsides to know before you move money

  • Regulation is light. MEXC says it is lightly regulated offshore and holds no tier-one licence. Do your own due diligence before leaving a balance there.
  • Many countries are excluded. MEXC’s restricted-countries list, updated 8 Oct 2026, names the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Malaysia and Kazakhstan among prohibited jurisdictions, and says the Netherlands is being offboarded by 16 Nov 2026.
  • P2P prices are set by other users. The rate you get depends on which advert you pick, as the naira example shows, and your bank or payment provider may charge on top.
  • A wrong network or missing Memo/Tag can lose the funds. That is MEXC’s own warning.
  • Crypto is highly volatile. The value of what you hold can change while you are waiting to sell, and your capital is at real risk.

What we could not confirm

  • Withdrawal processing times and daily withdrawal limits by KYC level. We did not verify them, so this guide gives no figures.
  • Whether MEXC offers any direct fiat withdrawal to a bank, such as a bank wire or card payout. P2P is the only cash-out route we verified.
  • Whether transfers to another MEXC user are free. The official guide describes the option but does not state a fee.
