OKX vs Binance fees (2026): spot rates and USDT withdrawal costs compared
At the regular spot tier, OKX charges 0.080% maker and 0.100% taker, while Binance charges 0.100% for both, or 0.075% if you pay fees in BNB. For USDT withdrawals, OKX was cheaper on 7 of the 9 networks where we recorded a fee for both exchanges on 11 Oct 2026, with the widest gap on Arbitrum One (0.0033 USDT against 0.4 USDT). Tron (TRC20) costs 1.5 USDT on both.

The withdrawal figures below are the ones each exchange displayed on 11 Oct 2026. They are not fixed rates.
Spot fees: OKX is cheaper for makers, unless you pay Binance fees in BNB
A maker order sits on the order book and waits to be filled. A taker order fills straight away against an order that is already there. Most market orders are taker orders.
OKX’s fee schedule lists the regular (non-VIP) tier at 0.080% maker and 0.100% taker. That tier covers accounts under 100,000 USD in assets or under 1,000,000 USD of 30-day volume. Binance’s spot fee schedule lists the regular tier at 0.100% maker and 0.100% taker for accounts under 1,000,000 USD of 30-day volume, with 25% off when fees are paid in BNB.
| Regular spot tier | Maker | Taker | Fee on a 1,000 USDT trade (maker / taker) |
|---|---|---|---|
| OKX | 0.080% | 0.100% | 0.80 USDT / 1.00 USDT |
| Binance | 0.100% | 0.100% | 1.00 USDT / 1.00 USDT |
| Binance, fees paid in BNB | 0.075% | 0.075% | 0.75 USDT / 0.75 USDT |
What the table says in practice:
- Taker orders, no BNB: identical. 1.00 USDT per 1,000 USDT traded on either exchange.
- Maker orders, no BNB: OKX is cheaper by 0.20 USDT per 1,000 USDT traded.
- Fees paid in BNB: Binance is cheaper on both sides. The gap is 0.25 USDT per 1,000 USDT for takers and 0.05 USDT per 1,000 USDT for makers.
The BNB discount has a catch. You have to hold BNB to pay fees with it, and BNB is a token whose price moves. A trader who only wants to hold USDT and the coin they are trading takes on a third asset to get the lower rate.
OKX also lists a VIP 1 tier at 0.0675% maker and 0.080% taker. That is 0.675 USDT and 0.80 USDT on the same 1,000 USDT trade.

USDT withdrawal fees on the networks where we recorded both
Withdrawal fees are flat amounts per withdrawal, not percentages. The figures come from OKX’s withdrawal fee page and Binance’s crypto fee page, as displayed on 11 Oct 2026.
| Network | OKX fee | Binance fee | Cheaper | OKX minimum | Binance minimum |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tron (TRC20) | 1.5 USDT | 1.5 USDT | Same | 10 USDT | 5 USDT |
| Ethereum (ERC20) | 0.32 USDT | 0.5 USDT | OKX by 0.18 | 2 USDT | 5 USDT |
| Solana | 0.31 USDT | 0.3 USDT | Binance by 0.01 | 2 USDT | 5 USDT |
| Aptos | 0.032 USDT | 0.1 USDT | OKX by 0.068 | 2 USDT | 3 USDT |
| Avalanche C-Chain | 0.025 USDT | 0.04 USDT | OKX by 0.015 | 2 USDT | 5 USDT |
| TON | 0.022 USDT | 0.3 USDT | OKX by 0.278 | 2 USDT | 3 USDT |
| Optimism | 0.015 USDT | 0.04 USDT | OKX by 0.025 | 2 USDT | 3 USDT |
| Polygon | 0.011 USDT | 0.07 USDT | OKX by 0.059 | 2 USDT | 5 USDT |
| Arbitrum One | 0.0033 USDT | 0.4 USDT | OKX by 0.3967 | 2 USDT | 3 USDT |
Three gaps are large enough to notice on a single withdrawal: Arbitrum One (about 0.40 USDT), TON (about 0.28 USDT) and Ethereum (0.18 USDT). On Solana, Avalanche C-Chain, Optimism, Polygon and Aptos the difference is under 0.07 USDT, which is too small to choose an exchange over.
Tron is the most expensive of the USDT networks we recorded on both exchanges, and the fee is the same. The only difference there is the minimum: 10 USDT on OKX against 5 USDT on Binance.
Binance says it does not charge crypto deposit fees, and that each withdrawal fee is a flat amount set by the blockchain network that can change without notice.
Networks where we recorded a fee for only one exchange
The cheapest fee we recorded at each exchange is on a network where we have no fee for the other.
| Network | OKX | Binance |
|---|---|---|
| BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) | Not listed for USDT withdrawals | 0.01 USDT, minimum 3 USDT |
| opBNB | No fee recorded | 0.015 USDT |
| X Layer | 0.0022 USDT, minimum 0.02 USDT | No fee recorded |
So the cheapest withdrawal we recorded on each exchange is under 0.02 USDT. The catch is that the cheapest recorded route is on a different network at each exchange. If the wallet or platform you are sending to only accepts BEP20, OKX cannot send USDT there directly.
The USDT0 label on OKX’s cheapest networks
OKX labels the token it sends on Arbitrum One, Polygon, Plasma, X Layer, Unichain, Berachain and Monad as USDT0. It lists Optimism twice, once as USDT and once as USDT0, at the same fee.
This matters because OKX’s lowest fees in the comparison table (Arbitrum One and Polygon) are on networks where the token is labelled USDT0. The fee is real, but the receiving address has to accept that token on that network for the withdrawal to be useful.
Worked example: trade 1,000 USDT, then withdraw
This combines one taker trade of 1,000 USDT with one USDT withdrawal on the same network from each exchange.
| Route | OKX | Binance | Binance, fees in BNB |
|---|---|---|---|
| Taker trade + Arbitrum One withdrawal | 1.0033 USDT | 1.40 USDT | 1.15 USDT |
| Taker trade + Tron (TRC20) withdrawal | 2.50 USDT | 2.50 USDT | 2.25 USDT |
| Taker trade + Ethereum (ERC20) withdrawal | 1.32 USDT | 1.50 USDT | 1.25 USDT |
Two things stand out:
- On Tron, the withdrawal fee is larger than the trading fee on both exchanges. Picking a cheaper network saves more than picking a different exchange.
- The BNB discount grows with trade size, while the withdrawal fee stays flat. On a 1,000 USDT trade, the 0.25 USDT taker saving on Binance is smaller than OKX’s 0.3967 USDT advantage on an Arbitrum One withdrawal. On a 10,000 USDT trade, the saving is 2.50 USDT and outweighs it.
Because withdrawal fees are flat, they weigh most on small amounts. A 1.5 USDT Tron fee is 15% of a 10 USDT withdrawal and 0.15% of a 1,000 USDT withdrawal.
Which one is cheaper for you
- You place market orders and do not hold BNB: spot cost is the same. Decide on the withdrawal network you need.
- You place limit orders that rest on the book and do not hold BNB: OKX, by 0.20 USDT per 1,000 USDT traded.
- You are willing to hold BNB for fees: Binance, at 0.075% on both sides.
- You withdraw USDT over Arbitrum One, TON or Ethereum: OKX displayed the lower fee on 11 Oct 2026.
- You withdraw USDT over BEP20: Binance only. OKX does not list it for USDT.
- You withdraw USDT over Tron: no difference in fee. Binance has the lower minimum.
What we could not confirm
- The minimum USDT withdrawal on opBNB at Binance. It is not among the minimums we recorded.
- How the two compare above the regular tier. We have OKX’s VIP 1 rate but no matching Binance VIP figure, so this guide does not compare VIP tiers.
- Whether a given wallet or platform accepts the token OKX labels USDT0. That depends on the receiving side, not on OKX.
